Community Pride is a unit of the national charity Church Action on Poverty.

Two opticians from Salford have raised over £1,000 for our work with Deafblind people! Tony & Nick from Wallwork opticians ran the Snowdonia marathon in October! We thank them for all their hard work and fundraising!
We are currently recruiting for a new School of Participation!
We are working in partnership with representatives from the Youth Independent Advisory Group (Greater Manchester Police). The School is for young people from Salford, aged 16-19. For more information please see our Current Schools of Participation page.
Two members of staff from Wallwork Opticians, based in Swinton (Salford), are in training to run the Snowdonia Marathon to raise funds for Community Pride’s work with Deafblind people in Salford. Tony McGrail and Nick Wallwork were inspired to take on the challenge when they heard about the invaluable work we are doing to support Deafblind people in the area.
